The Echo of Emptiness:
Tonight at MÜPA I saw Carmen (Bizet) as contemporary dance. It was Kecskemét City Balett Company. It was a completely unique setup and the opening scen extraordinary. Oh how I would like to have a photo. The only disappointment was that Carmen was not that very very good as she should be. And I thought all the time about how great my favorite Alexandra would do in that role. But I got a favorite for this night – Nikolett Nagy. She was outstanding in her balanced complex movements related to music. There was also another dancer – the shortest and blond – have to ask about her name. The choreography made the audience breathless about how strong feelings were delivered from scene.
And I am impressed about the scene settings – unique and creative.
Levente Bagossy set design, Julcsi Kiss costumes, Zoltán Katonka lighting, assistant choreographer, Tünde Frigyesi director’s assistant, Sándor Domján, Ákos Czeglédi director and choreographer,
Dóra Barta director and choreographer
Next and also last on my program 2016 is the Nutcracker (for 2nd time) on Friday. Looking forward for sure! As you can see in the program link I have been busy about culture. Hopefully 2017 will be the same. I’ve already bought tickets for Dance festival and Spring festival. In between i have to go home too.

Pling pling. While sitting on the tram to #BizetCarmen tonight I thought about you. I remember your last words and a poem popped up in my head. You said:
-See you next time!
While our eyes made connection to each other’s heart – this very second – I answered the same words. And you know! Next time is Friday. Soon we’ll meet again!

‘loving to love’

Winter Breath by Adrian von Ziegler.

“Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes. Because for those who love with heart and soul there is no such thing as separation.” Jalaluddin Rumi
“The clearest way into the Universe is through a forest wilderness.” John Muir.
There is such mess in our world! The worst made by human hands. Worst because somebody made a choice of pillage. There are always humans to blame in this case. Well of course the nature itself also creates disasters. But not by a choice … I think – with my kind of knowledge … so far. I’m fascinated by the power of nature. Very much. And by contrasts … as you already know. The good and bad – pillage …. so to say.
stumps and splinters
chipped and left by nature forces
sad pillage
a desert of disaster might prosper
if invaded by energy of origin
Daily Prompt: Pillage.
“A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.” Albert Einstein

Another evening with Bach music and contemporary dance at MÜPA. Dream Keeper. I was so lucky to meet some very interesting people. Both before the performance and in the paus. I almost felt high on my way home later. Don’t read ”almost”.

He was a sailor. She was in love. A dreamer collecting shells on the esoteric beach.

The wooden boardwalk became her life.
Some day
she will find that special shell.

Some day she stumbled on a broken board.

At last stormy waves brought the board out into the deep sea.
As they brought her love back.
Carpe Diem: #1108 Promise.
Seems like promises is all about problems. But only if the deepest meaning is different between the two making promises. Once I experienced there is such difference. The value of the word differs. Between people.

The most important promise to make is the promise to yourself, I think.
I promise

And so I will … for now … of tomorrow we know nothing …

-Oj, hur ska jag bära mig åt nu?
-Vilken utmaning!
-Vilket osympatiskt ord!
-Nästan så jag inte vill ha ordet i min blogg.
-Men nu handlar det om fantasi och förmåga!
-Utöver det vanliga alltså!
