In Mist and Water Drops

The five haiku masters in Japan …. Bashō, Issa (Cup-of-tea), Buson, Chiyo-Ni and Shiki – ”the Big Five.”

It really gripped my – todays post at Carpe Diem. I almost felt I sailed up a poetry level. Felt very nice …

ah master
I read your poetry – in the water
you still are

… to be there. But however I am realistic too. I’m not there yet. But I promise – cross my heart … I’m on my way. Cause I so badly want to … I always want to be a better me. Not the best because I have passed that several times. I just want to get better and better …

Today I have been so inspired by poetry written by Hamish, Kristjaan and other masters. I think the way of … ”hear your voice in the water stream” …. ”birds chirping in the sound of stones” …. and I bring with me … ”the artist not to be seen in the poetry”. That last one will be difficult … I’m sure. I am also – every day – inspired by haiku by Lize Bard – and responding to them.

Hopefully – some day – I will become a better me … but as I use to say nowadays – I have time.

always take
time for haiku – writings

With Love – QUEEN in Life

I saw you. In cyber. I wanted you! So very much. Said it was perfect and that you looked so smart. You answered. You looked upon me with younger eyes. Didn’t see me as ‘ an old woman’.  In a way you are right. My soul is young and so is my heart. But! My years are my treasure chest. I want every single to be counted up to date. I like my age. Actually I love my age. It’s just so perfect for me!
So is you!

I cannot wait …. I know you will arrive in a few days …

The Taste of Cherry - Kissing

Kiss of Cherry

how many, many things
they bring to mind —
cherry blossoms!

Such a beautiful post Chèvrefeuille made today about Cherry Trees and Blossoms in Japan!

ah! the spring breeze     ©Chèvrefeuille

It’s easy to feel romantic when being among the blooming cherry trees. And nostalgic. We had in our garden where I grew up. Two trees. The large one – with bigger and black sweet berries – I used to climb to the top, where the best berries could be found.
I think I like more to be romantic now …

overwhelmed
by lovely kisses – into
cherry blossom
you took my hand first
and then my heart
Now I long so much to spring. First I will enjoy spring in Budapest and then I will enjoy spring in Lund. And I know where to find all the cherry blossom rooms in my cities. I also look forward all the kisses …

Hot Bath and a Samurai

Imagine … a week with cold kitchen and cold bathroom … no warm water for a shower or bath … oh how I long for my hot bath!!!! That pump for circulation in the gas machine! I hate when things brake down! They had to order from Vienna or Germany.

But! Yes there is a but … my bedroom is warm and also my heart.

Tomorrow …. hopefully …crossing my fingers …  I can have my hot bath. I will spice up the moment with champagne and candles … then off to Bolero later in the evening. Longing so much!
I think most … after … the hot bath …

hot hot water
hugging every inch – of me
soul sailing

… now I thought of a samurai … do they know about massage … can they cut the water into swirling waves … are they good with their hands … are they only warriors or … maybe passionate lovers too … I wonder still …

Wielding the sword or the brushes – that´s the question 😉
I seem to have brushed me away into the bathtub …

Green Tea – Ginkgo Biloba

green like my tea – ginkgo
so soft and warm
Just now enjoying this lovely tea … after a dance evening … first performance I didn’t like very much. It was too odd. Too much of acrobatics, to little of dancing and more of experimental liftings and turn-arounds. And also some talking in Hungarian so I didn’t understand. No, I didn’t like Prospero. Not at all!
But the woman playing several instruments and also singing – was great!

Next is Bolero – I know I will like that one – because I love Bolero! This time Győri Balett Company. Thursday will bring this great event.

Lilac and Snow

A day without a sunrise. A day without a set. Just a day – another day – in the coldness. Hostile coldness inside. (I mean of course indoors not inside …. that English!) No flowers would like this and I don’t either.

So I made some strong coffee – really strong – south Swedish – a special kind of dark roast. And I also was in need of dark chocolate. A day like today. Has to be at least 70 % cocoa.

Wish I had some beautiful flowers …

bowing greens
long stripes to reach blossoms
all in lilac and snow

… though … glad I have my imagination for a Japanese Ikebana …

Crazy Art by me - Ikebana.

I turn the heat up. Listen to the ‘classica‘ piano concert. Glance towards my colored pencils beside. Or – in fact – they glance at me – and very insistently.

Finest Dark Chocolate at least 70%.

Life is a Pilgrimage

I have had some wonderful days now with my elder sister. I am so fortunate! Just saying! My sisters are just so wonderful. Every moment I spend with either of them or both is moments to keep in my heart. Has always been. No pilgrimage can compares to the time with sisters. My sisters.

best pilgrimage
all these journeys – dearest
my heart sings

A life Pilgrimage – mine with my sisters …

we share
the same start – oh life
fragile and strong

A life Pilgrimage – alone or together …

always another
page of day to fill – tastes
so exciting

… and tomorrow will bring some more … I am ready!

Me and my sisters - I am the middle one.
I am the middle one 😉
A long time ago.
