HAIKU

Your Ticket to

I love walking around and exploring. The conditions varies a lot from place to place. Of course. Roads inviting you for free are the best. Even in countries with restrictions you may find roads for your free walks. Because it has to be a connection between the road and you. You have to reach that special feeling to be able to learn from the road.
Finding that mood …

the two of you
will be engulfed by and live what’s
between every step

… that’s the way to learn – like feeling every curve in the thoroughly handmade wooden doors … and then open it. The kind of doors I have always imagined to have on my living room wall.

I am a bit weak about doors. Two pieced. With that special patina only life and sun can create. Three places in the world showed me the unique about doors. My grandmother’s, my aunt and uncle’s and the doors in the outskirts of Dubai. Where I used to walk with my youngest daughter. While the others were at school or at work. A very long time ago – early eighties. It was like walking the treasure of mud house road. All these sun dried worn in – absolutely not worn out – doors.
Instead of – on my living room wall – I keep them in my heart.

So why this talking about doors!??

an open door
the most essential to keep
in mind
your ticket! – traveling
the roads of wisdom

Symbolic for me.
Without an ”open door” you will not be able to learn from the road.

Piece by Piece

Wish I were more capable just now. No sleep last night. Had the flow when making some things – writings and …

bridge in mist
the troubled souls walk over
mine cleared

… thinkings and drawings … how lucky I am. To have that terrific flow I mean 😉
And I like my haiku – it contains different meanings – what about last line 😉

Well I remembered today to visit the Geisha exhibition and it was very interesting. I’m glad I did. Despite the depressing grey weather and unsafe walking in snowy streets. But the Chain Bridge looks great in any weather. That’s for sure!

maybe a favorit
there are some treasures in mind
worth saving
while memories fade away
piece by piece

Some moody weather, isn’t it? The Parliament almost vanished behind the Chain Bridge.

Chain Bridge in mist and ice in the Danube.

Daily Prompt: Capable.

There is a song ”Piece by Piece” with Katie Melua – a beautiful one. She is really good! Men min favorit är ”The closest thing to Crazy”.

För Njutning – For Pleasure

Yuxta Lives

This time here I haven’t given myself treatments I use to. Visiting the hairdresser, having manicure and pedicure, nice outdoor bath …. but today … soon before returning … I had pedicure. How nice to spoil myself and so good for my hard working feet. Soon I will leave all wonderful happenings behind … leave home here …

I’m happy
living in your longing thoughts
until next time
we will meet – soon enough
and share our yuxta lives

… to check out what’s going on at home there …
… to soon leave – home there – again behind …
… my yuxta lives …

Today I totally forgot to visit the Geisha exhibition – a ‘must’ to remember tomorrow!
