Carpe Diem

Lilac and Snow

A day without a sunrise. A day without a set. Just a day – another day – in the coldness. Hostile coldness inside. (I mean of course indoors not inside …. that English!) No flowers would like this and I don’t either.

So I made some strong coffee – really strong – south Swedish – a special kind of dark roast. And I also was in need of dark chocolate. A day like today. Has to be at least 70 % cocoa.

Wish I had some beautiful flowers …

bowing greens
long stripes to reach blossoms
all in lilac and snow

… though … glad I have my imagination for a Japanese Ikebana …

Crazy Art by me - Ikebana.

I turn the heat up. Listen to the ‘classica‘ piano concert. Glance towards my colored pencils beside. Or – in fact – they glance at me – and very insistently.

Finest Dark Chocolate at least 70%.

Life is a Pilgrimage

I have had some wonderful days now with my elder sister. I am so fortunate! Just saying! My sisters are just so wonderful. Every moment I spend with either of them or both is moments to keep in my heart. Has always been. No pilgrimage can compares to the time with sisters. My sisters.

best pilgrimage
all these journeys – dearest
my heart sings

A life Pilgrimage – mine with my sisters …

we share
the same start – oh life
fragile and strong

A life Pilgrimage – alone or together …

always another
page of day to fill – tastes
so exciting

… and tomorrow will bring some more … I am ready!

Me and my sisters - I am the middle one.
I am the middle one 😉

Like a Pearl

passing over water
the island like a pearl
to appreciate

I just did it! Passed over water. In glory ”fairyland”. Under the moon. Almost full. Waiting for your arrival. I walked over the water beside my sister and brother in law. This bewildered beautiful night. Over the water. Passing a pearl – the island. Just saying!

ah – Matsushima
our bay for love – feeding
each other with oysters

This bay I am definitely sure I would like! And ”Pine Islands” sounds so romantic. A wonderful bay, nice weather and oysters … wow …
I will take off at once … Sailing in sunlight

Silence is Safe

oh this silence …
boulders filled
by cikadans squeaks   ©Basho

a squirrel sneaks away
up into and around the trunk

it’s getting darker
volume turned up
like million violins

pulling the covers upp
to soften sound for ears

after a sigh
acorn fell on forehead
that squirrel

another acorn fell
somebody is still working

in the sky
a star fell too
my wish

the silence is safe
a dream came true

I don’t know if I have succeeded in my first ‘Soliloquy No Renga’ (a Renga written by one poet) – this monologue with ‘hokku’ and ‘ageku’.
Is it a 8-stanza renga?

A Good-Hearted Philosophy

I say: Beware!

B E W A R E

About all kinds of some people’s doctrines! Religions.

You know there has been so any Gods along times. Gods made up by people. People in need to get themselves some explanations about world and life. Week people. Yes week because they didn’t had the ability to think on a higher level. And then they experienced they could get hold of the mass – just by that made up religion!

B E W A R E!

I myself find Richard Dawkins very interesting. Reason rules for him … and science. So it is for me. Take care of your open mind – reflect – be humble – and aware – beware – … don’t be ”taken over”!

“We are all atheists about most of the gods that humanity has ever believed in. Some of us just go one god further.”  ― Richard Dawkins

The Top of Hearts

Yes I do! Honestly! And I will – I’m sure. Like to reach that amazing mountain top. Covered with your hesitance. That hesitance I don’t know why it exist. Have you been hurt? Are you shy? I don’t picture you as week. But what do I know! Nothing…

striving to reach
wanting so much – to get closer
your heart

… I just live out my feelings … my curiosity … about you …for now … that mountain top to climb …

… to reach your heart.

And kissing you … on the top of the world.

For ever!

Yes you! …. you know …
