Hon hade tänkt göra det snyggt. Ärligt och rakt på sak. Precis som det hade uppenbarat sig för henne. När sådant här händer henne numera blir hon varken överrumplad eller förvånad. Bara glad. Hon gillar att livet fungerar på detta sätt för henne. Saker händer. Vissa helt otroliga. Andra som ren hjälp i livet. Detta är en sådan.
I morse hade hon vaknat och var helt förvissad om att Ulf inte alls var den hon skulle dela livet med. Båda har varit djupt förälskade och helt inställda på gemensam framtid. Igår gällde det för henne men inte idag.
Snart skulle Ulf veta. Snart skulle det vara över. Avslutat.
Irma valde det rosa läppstiftet och målade läpparna omsorgsfullt. Sedan gick hon raskt till mötet. Nästan glad.
