No crazy thoughts popping up today on my walkabout over and between the bridges. I was too busy with testing camera settings in this half misty day. Soon I will look at my photos but first that only poem coming in my head when I was almost at home. I think it is a little folly …. or?

Yazidi Women

The 16th of November 2014 I wrote about Yazidi girls. I was so sad and also angry when I come to know what had happened to them in Irak.

Haiku – Senryu.

Sisters holding hands
were brutally torn apart
the cold knife spoke death.

Thinking about Yazidi girls – How cruel can men be! Obviously worse than animals. Also:  

Now two years later two of the escaped women won The European Parliament’s Sakharov Prize. They have told their story to the world. So amazingly strong done!

För min del vill jag hylla dem med en bild jag precis gjort.

And I will be sad until all girls in the world are freed. Then I will draw a happy eye.

Man kan ställa upp den gamla antika vasen överst på hyllan. Där står den mer skyddat
– kanske!

Man kan ställa upp i en tävling med chans att vinna något fint. Eller göra bort sig
– kanske!

Man kan ställa upp för någon som behöver. En människa som befinner sig i en utsatt situation. Ett barn som är mobbat. En äldre som blir rånad. En människa som behöver hjälp i en situation som kräver omgivningens civilkurage.
– Inga ‘kanske’ gäller här!
