CRAZY ART

Scarecrow's hat

Carpe Diem Special #123,
Richard Wright’s 4th ”the scarecrow’s old hat”.

The scarecrow’s old hat
Was flung by the winter wind
Into a graveyard.         © Richard Wright

it had to pass some trees
and was pushed here and there

a girl looked up
sawthe hat riding the wind
wants to run after

her mother said stop
mind the traffic in the street

she hesitated
being not obedient
or what – she thought

about struggling between
mother and curiosity

a true hard battle
attracted by treasure hunt
obstructions on road

while hesitating by side
cars stopped resolutely

she crossed happily
running after into yard
the wind took her cap

she didn’t notice at all
cause treasure hat replaced it

#renga The coated street

Carpe Diem Time Glass #14, Winter Wonderland.
This week I love to challenge you all a bit more to write a short chained poem -Renga – with a maximum of eight stanza following the classical rules (5-7-5; 7-7; 5-7-5; 7-7; 5-7-5; 7-7; 5-7-5; 7-7) and your last stanza (classically called ”ageku”) has to close the chain by associating on the first stanza.

Amelia in red
walking in her dreams along
greens dressed red too
All the dreams play white songs
wishing for more red and green.

Camelia in red
waiting for admirations
while the leaves are sad
The snow rebuilds the chapel
the tears have a final home

The coated street light
fills every dream and sadness
grief round the corner
performing dance starts here
wanting to embrace cold hands

The air is happy
breathing is for healthy life
the steps are sorry
Christmas time makes happiness
for other it’s worst time ever

Ps. I am thinking of all the children with addicted and abusing parents.

stilla i natten

skorna passar ej

Ps.

Knocking Rationality #haiku #tanka

Daily Prompt: Gut Feeling.
When’s the last time you followed your instinct despite not being sure it was the right thing to do? Did it end up being the right call?

Choose and vote the right
when not knowing what that is
instinct qualifies

good enough make decisions
knocking rationality
